Philip DeBerard IV was born and raised in Stuart, FL and had the unique opportunity to watch his father grow his personal injury practice during his lifetime into an established and trusted local firm.
Philip devotes his time to advocating on behalf of injured people and their loved ones in what is often a challenging and unfriendly system. His philosophy of helping those in need extends to his personal life, where he supports numerous non-profit organizations committed to helping the disabled and disadvantaged, and other local causes. He is a member of the Florida Justice Association, the Martin County Bar Association, and board member of the Young Professionals of Martin County.
He is accredited for Veteran’s Affairs representation, admitted to practice law in all Florida State courts, and is a licensed Independent Insurance Adjuster. Prior to transitioning to injury law, Philip worked at the Public Defender’s office in Martin and St. Lucie Counties, where he represented indigent clients in a wide variety of criminal cases.
Philip earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from University of Florida, a master’s of Business Administration from Stetson University, and a Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law. When not practicing law, he enjoys fishing and boating on the beautiful Treasure Coast. He is also a proud member of Gator Nation and enjoys all Gator sports and SEC football.
